Villa del Castellaccio, del sec. XVII, si erge sulle colline di Uzzano, sulla strada che da Uzzano Castello porta verso la frazione di Santa Lucia. La villa, Vincolata dal competente Ministero per il suo interesse storico-artistico ed architettonico, è passata di proprietà a tre diverse famiglie nobili del territorio: i Toldi, gli Orsi Bertolini e gli Anzilotti.

Attuale proprietario della villa è il Cav. dott. Guido Anzilotti, nipote del famoso professore Dionisio Anzilotti, Accademico d’Italia, giudice e Presidente presso la Corte Permanente di Giustizia Internazionale dell’Aia e a cui è stato anche intitolato il noto Istituto Tecnico Agrario di Pescia; Dionisio acquistò la Villa nel 1926.

La Villa acquistò fama per l’essere stata presa in affitto nell’estate del 1895, dal maestro Giacomo Puccini, il quale quì compose il 2° ed il 3° atto della Bohème.

La villa è aperta al pubblico, solo su appuntamento, per visite private del parco e degli interni per importanti eventi. Da oggi inoltre è possibile soggiornare nella villa: per alcune persone motivate e disposte ad investire su se stesse per vivere una esperienza unica è possibile essere ospitati dal proprietario per un breve, ma intenso, soggiorno. Chiunque fosse interessato trovi i contatti in questa inserzione. Questa attività occasionale serve a integrare le spese di manutenzione dell’immobile, infatti tutti i fondi che verranno eventualmente ricavati saranno riutilizzati solo per la manutenzione dell’immobile stesso.

Nel mese di settembre 2018, il cav. dott. Anzilotti ha deliberato la villa per essere fotografa così da poter partecipare al concorso fotografico più grande del mondo “Wiki Loves Monuments”, organizzato da Wikimedia. Il 2018 così rappresenta il primo anno in cui la villa viene ampiamente fotografata in tutta la sua bellezza, fra cui anche le scritte autografe di Puccini su una parete interna del salotto. Spicca inoltre al pian terreno la cappella privata con l’ingresso sotto le scale principali di accesso alla villa. Villa del Castellaccio, of the century XVII, stands on the hills of Uzzano, on the road that leads from Uzzano Castle towards the village of Santa Lucia. The villa, bound by the competent Ministry for its historical-artistic and architectural interest, has passed into a property to three different noble families of the territory: the Toldi, the Bertolini Orsi and the Anzilotti. The current owner of the villa is Cav. dr. Guido Anzilotti, nephew of the famous professor Dionisio Anzilotti, Academician of Italy, judge and President at the Permanent Court of International Justice in The Hague and who was also entitled the well-known Agricultural Technical Institute of Pescia, who bought the Villa in 1926.
The Villa acquired fame for being rented in the summer of 1895, by the master Giacomo Puccini, who here composed the 2nd and the 3rd act of the Bohème.
The villa is open to the public, by appointment only, for private visits to the park and the interiors for important events. From today, furthermore, it is possible to stay in the villa: for some people motivated and willing to invest in themselves to live a unique experience it is possible to be hosted by the owner for a short but intense stay. Anyone interested can find the contacts in this listing. This occasional activity serves to supplement the costs of maintenance of the building, in fact all the funds that will eventually be obtained will be reused only for the maintenance of the building itself.
Lately, in the month of September, the cav. dr. Anzilotti has deliberated the villa to be a photographer so as to be able to take part in the world’s largest photo contest “Wiki Loves Monuments” 2018 thus represents the first year in which the villa is widely photographed in all its beauty, including the autographed writings of Puccini on an interior wall of the living room. Also on the ground floor stands the private chapel with the entrance to the centre and below the main access stairs. Below are all photos uploaded on the official website of the competition:
