CONSULENZA, TRATTAMENTO E CURA

  • Rilevamento Indice Caviglia – Braccio.

FOTOBIOSTIMOLAZIONE – Luce LED Blu

English version below

Francesco Paoli is a nurse specialized in the treatment of lesions and ulcers at the University of Modena. Since 1987, the year of the diploma, he is enrolled in the Professional Register IPASVI of Pistoia. In 2017 he obtained the Certificate of Excellence for the treatment of lesions and skin ulcers. During his career he worked in private and hospital facilities. Many participations in refresher courses, specialization courses and congresses. Over thirty years of experience and a high level of competence are aimed at meeting care needs, with targeted and effective interventions.

CONSULTING, TREATMENT AND CARE
CONSULTING, TREATMENT AND CARE OF SKIN LESIONS
• Prevention of skin lesions and assessment of the degree of risk.
• Ulcers of the lower limbs.
• Bandages of the lower limbs to zinc oxide, elastic, inelastic and multilayer.
• Treatment of lymphedema with bandages.
• Pressure or decubitus ulcers.
• Postoperative drainage control, surgical wounds and removal of stitches.
• Use of technologically advanced medications such as: hydrocolloids, polyurethane foams, hydrophobes, alginates, capturing and antibacterial dressings.
• Dressing of domestic wounds and burns.
• Prevention and management of scars with medications and measures aimed at reducing their development and incidence.
• Ankle-Arm Index Detection.
It is a useful tool for assessing blood circulation and allowing the application of a personalized compression bandage to the needs of the patient. This survey can also be carried out at home.

NEGATIVE TOPIC PRESSURE THERAPY
Francesco Paoli uses topical negative pressure therapy (NPWT) to treat difficult or particularly exuding wounds. This treatment is approved by the scientific community, as well as used in the major vulnological centers. Among the advantages it brings to the patient, topical negative pressure therapy reduces healing times and pain. It is indicated for patients suffering from acute, chronic, traumatic wounds, dehiscences of surgical wounds, burns to partial thickness, areas of skin grafting and ulcers (from decubitus, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers).

FOTOBIOSTIMULAZIONE – Blue LED light
In recent years, thanks to the diffusion of lasers and LED sources, many experimental studies have been carried out on the use of phototherapeutic technologies to help and support the healing process of skin lesions. It has been found that certain wavelengths of visible light, in the blue scale, are able to help in a natural way the healing process of skin lesions, thanks to the presence in the blood and in the epithelial cells of elements sensitive to these
wavelengths. The Blue LED Light is also performed at the patient’s home and acts on both acute and wounds
that chronic, but can not absolutely replace the good practices of medication validated by the scientific community.
Like all advanced treatments, the Blue LED Light must be managed by qualified and experienced personnel.

NURSING OPERATIONAL ECOGRAPHY
Nursing Operational Ultrasound is a cutting-edge technique that brings numerous benefits to the patient. Some of the main indications are: the fistula dressings, the examination of the tissues of cavitary ulcers, abscesses, evaluation of the emptying of hematomas, suspected deep vein thrombosis. With this practice it is possible to perform a “targeted” performance, even at the patient’s home, and of a high professional profile, reducing the time of execution and the pain resulting from the procedure to be performed. It is necessary to clarify that the Operative Nursing Echography has only a procedural operative purpose and does not replace the clinical ultrasound to be performed by the Doctor.
